YSE opened the tournament with a 1 - 1 tie with Halifax as they warmed up the legs after the long drive.  Next came a string of victories as the Express defeated Hull Olympiques 2 - 0, St. John Vito's       5 - 0, Rothesay Riverhawks 7 - 0, and the Ontario H. Academy Mavericks 4 - 3.  In the semi-finals YSE defeated the Moncton Flyers 1 - 0 and then sealed the tournament Championship with a 4 - 2 victory over the Ottawa 67's.
