This year the YSE Minor Atoms, under the direction of Head Coach Kevin McHenry, headed to Ottawa and compiled a record of 7 wins and 0 losses with 34 goals for and 7 goals against.  The round robin saw the Express defeat the New Jersey Rockets 4 - 1, Whitby Wildcats 3 - 2, North York Rangers 6 - 1 and the Boston Red Rangers 7 - 0.  In the Quarter-Final YSE beat the Mississauga Reps 6 - 1 then the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers 3 - 2 in the Semi-Final.  The Championship game set up a battle between undefeated teams in the Cleveland Barons and our YSE Minor Atoms.  The first period was a battle that saw neither team score.  The Express then exploded for 4 goals in the second period and added another in the third to walk away with a 5 - 0 victory and the Bell Capital Cup Championship.

Congratulations to the players and staff on a great tournament.
